Tentative identification. Shape of dorsal fins and tail more like the Ocean Triggerfish but it lacks the black blotch at the pectoral fin base, was not shy, and not in open water (school of ~5 adults).

Looks like a very recently transformed terminal phase male to me. Still has some darker areas above mouth. Blue chromis just above
